You name it, there is a good chance an Air Cadet somewhere is doing it! Being an Air Cadet requires commitment. There will be regular meetings (Parades). ATC Squadrons meet two evenings per week (Monday and Thursdays in our case). Added to this cadets will have the chance to participate in weekend activities and events. Further to these there are courses and camps, often held at RAF Stations, you can attend.
Just some of the many activities Available are:
Flying, Gliding, Shooting, Aero modelling, Aircraft Recognition, Ceremonial drill, Community Projects, Adventure Training, Computers, Engineering, Radio/Communications, Photography, Field craft Training, Kayaking and Canoeing, Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, Annual Camps, Overseas Camps, Many sporting opportunities, BTEC’s, First Aid
